I still have no idea who Wiseman or the Dark Brethren are. How did Geldoblame become who he is in the first game, I guess he went mad from Verus's treachery? It did seem that they had some kind of romantic relationship. Though Guillo's death was quite contrived. I just finished the game and I loved every moment of it. The are minor deviations to the ending if you took out the three machina arma in a specific way I suppose the end magnus can leak power (or didn't quite seal everything away to begin with) and then artifically or naturally possess people, animals or plants which awaken as afterlings in times of great emotion. The malpercio stuff I don't think really has a good explanation. The promagnation Wiseman would would carry out (wiping out entire towns and a willing daily sacrifice in his shrine) serves as interesting contrast to what Baelheit was doing with promachination (he also used brute force but had people willing to give up their wings) in the spiritualism vs. Given his immense power it is likely he become some sort of pure magnus form in order to fully open his wings. Wiseman taught humans how open the wings of heart that much is said from the dialogue. In fact for a small piece of trivia the rather similar Celesial Alps in the first game are actually a pretty good match for the chunk of Hassaleh that got severed implying they were one and the same. Regarding Hassaleh it's existence can be taken to mean there are main continents but also small islands. This can lead to problems with say the wikia which contains a fair bit of unmarked speculation. I think a lot of Baten Kaitos things are left for the player to fill in.
